Your boyfriend stopped calling you. Is this something that you’re currently experiencing? It’s one of those things that occur in many relationships and it leaves the woman scratching her head and wondering what went wrong. Men aren’t always easy to understand and when the one you’re involved with seems to disappear without warning, it’s troubling. There is help though. Once a woman understands why men do this she’ll have more insight into how she can effectively handle the situation. Don’t spend another minute trying to decipher your boyfriend’s baffling behavior.

If you boyfriend stopped calling the first thing you’ve got to do is consider how things were the last time you saw him. If you two have been struggling with an ongoing conflict in your relationship, this could very well be the reason he’s stopped calling you. He may need time to cool down or he could just be trying to put some time and distance between the two of you while he thinks about the issue at hand. Many men don’t deal well with confrontation so they instead separate themselves from the problem until they feel they can deal with it rationally without causing any harm to the relationship.

Another common reason why men stop calling is to test you. This may seem a bit underhanded but we all know that many women often resort to tricky tactics when it comes to love, and men are the same. If your boyfriend stopped calling it could simply mean that he’s waiting to see how you’ll respond. You may believe the right response in a situation like this is to call him so he sees that you’re very interested in him. That’s not necessarily the case. You’ll do better if you don’t call him if you believe he’s testing you. This will send a very loud and clear message to him that you’re not sitting idly by waiting for him. Men want to chase the women they adore until they catch them and if he doesn’t feel as though he’s completely caught you yet, that will keep his interest high.

Whatever the reason behind his not calling you, don’t call him. It’s not simply about talking to one another. It’s much more complicated than that. If you continually call him when he doesn’t call you, you’re setting a tone for the relationship that won’t ever change. Sit back, relax and leave the calling to him. It may take awhile, but he’ll eventually call.

You need to always remember that men and women view phone calls, emails and text in very different ways. If you make the mistake of calling too frequently, at the wrong time or before he's ready to hear from you, you can actually turn him off.
